A Primary School Set Show drew adverse comment on the muddy grounds with pools of water. The School Committee has pressed officials for repairs, obtaining access to material and a sympathetic town labor offer, but no action has occurred. Parents may need a forceful protest to prompt work.

The Australian Wheat Board notifies that the last day for receiving wheat into No 8 Pool for the 1944/45 season is August 14 1945. Growers who do not need their wheat must deliver to a Board agency by that date. Percy Hutton State Superintendent Adelaide announces the notice.
