In August 1937 Georgetown, a MacRobert son-Miller aeroplane operated passenger flights from Parafield to Clare, drawing good local patronage and first flights for many. The community also hosted a farewell for Miss M Dollard at St Marys Church, while changes in business premises and a new parish priest arrived, and Mr and Mrs Phillips sent a parcel to the LR C Home at Henley Beach with a note of appreciation for their son John's treatment.
