Anzac Commemoration Services Held Across South Australia
Anzac commemorations took place Sunday afternoon across South Australia. In Gladstone the service at the Institute featured hymns, prayers by Rev BF Alvey, and remarks by Mayor F C Grubb listing district names of the fallen. Wreaths were placed at Tresylva Park and the Bishop of Willochra gave an address. A large turnout of returned soldiers appeared in uniform, and a later Methodist Church service included Girl Guides and choir singing.
