Anzac Service, Greyhound Wins, and Local Notices
The Anzac service at Soldiers' Memorial Institute hall drew splendid attendance with Rev. L. W. Brook presiding. Mr. George Ferme laid a wreath. £2 14s 3d was raised for the TB Soldiers' fund. The Georgetown Woollbine club beat St. Marys Green 9 sets to 7 to become premiers. Local items note frosts, heat, and a demand for rain to boost green feed. Greyhounds bred by Mr. Hinton show strong records, including Red Nip and Justifiable. Several residents and workers move or secure new posts, and Anzac Day plans and oval upgrades are underway.
