Horse Markets Report Brisk in New South Wales

The Clydesdale Horse Society reports brisk horse sales across farm and sale yard markets. Wellington failed to clear about 600 head starting on the 10th, with many light Queensland horses, many wagon-broken or yearlings, and a fair share of pick-eye stock. Draughts and two to three year olds sold solidly though good types were scarce. The market may be £5 too dear, urging breeders to improve stock. Chicago demand for city milk delivery horses noted as a strategic caution against motor trucks.
