Crucis is Spelling TEA LAWSON after giving the former Sydney Cup winner a dose of physic and sending him out for a spell yesterday. For the next few months his address will be Frost's property, Windsor. Crucis did not win a race for Lawson during the Autumn, best effort second to Rogerson at Rosehill on April 30, and the leg trouble seems to be okay again after being hacked about on metal roads.
King plans to topple Derby favorite Kuvera with two hopefuls Oro and Turbine returned from spell. Turbine placed third to Kuvera and Vountry in the AJC Sires Produce Stakes earning Jack King £500, signaling near top form among two-year-olds. Oro has won Woollahra Stakes and Youthful Stakes, with a dead heat with Kuvera in the Fairfield Handicap first division.
