Swlmnisuewie led early before Ryan pushed Table Talk to a neck verdict behind Salamyne, with Jaccuse distant after late trouble. Jaccuse faced betting swings as a Randwick bookmaker quoted large stakes before the finish.
Report of a crowded race where Lucky Kid led early but boxed in by a traffic jam. Miss Marj overtook and won by a short head after a late surge as the crowd’s favorite failed to catch up. Bets on Lucky Kid topped the field though the finish went to Miss Marj.
