After talks with the Sydney Turf Club the AT C will take the SCT date for Canterbury next Saturday to finish the AJC meeting. Randwick holds June 21, Canterbury moved to Wednesday. Postponements raise concerns as rain and closures affect training and track readiness across Wyong and Kembla Grange venues.

Benefit ran third in the Exeter Handicap won by Granite from Sir Marcher. Trainer Jim Montgomery is trusted to place him to advantage in maidens or mixed stakes events as he gains experience.
