SILVERO returned to form after a spell in Monday's Second Holiday Graduation at Randwick, finishing fifth behind Royal Drum, Lucky Stride and Star Comedian as ALLEVIATE drew big support in the maidens. L EPERON, from trainer R J Lee, showed late pace to finish strong and loom a likely minor sprint contender.
Owners and trainers are reminded that entries for the Queen Elizabeth Stakes will close at the A J C office at 3 p m on Monday January 4. The race, run over a mile and a half, carries 10000 pounds added. The event aligns with the Royal visit and will be part of the Randwick meeting on February 6.
