Sea Wolf is Sportsman s final selection for Wednesdays Summer Cup at 3 30 pm. His second to Gallant Leader yesterday boosts confidence for the big ride. Thracian Lad, Chitral, Persist, Dark Marne, Grand Monarch and Johnny Zero form the rival entries with trainers noting form and fitness ahead of the contest.
A racing overview reviews contenders for a 13 furlong Flemington test. Insurance and Buonarroti Boy show mixed form with risk over distance while Drastic Rumble Silver Buzz Golden Brew Sea Wolf Kerry Song and Gallant Leader are weighed on stamina and recent runs.

Channel Swell filly SEA STORY trained by Maurie McCarten for Mr W Kerr sprinted clear at Hawkesbury but fell short of victory as favorite GLENISSA seized a long neck win. MAGIC TOUCH also led before Desmond struck on the line, with KIMBERLEY delivering a strong finish after a troubled start.
