Fragmented report notes the Victorian Golf Association delayed releasing pennant dates for the season. Clubs faced postponements as the governing body had not announced main fixtures, forcing late printing of domestic fixtures and hindering schedules for practice.
The readable fragments reference a mix of names and terms across many topics. Notable mentions include Sydney, Revlimeton, Haya, Silay, Nye, Rea Kies, Entwana, and Kelly. The passage appears to be a garbled OCR of diverse items with no cohesive narrative or single event.
Brisbane correspondent reports the Miscellaneous Workers Union petitioned the Queensland Industrial Court seeking wage rises and longer holidays for labourers. The union argued Brisbane lags Sydney in pay and conditions, while opponents urged restraint on youth employment and opposed broader holiday gains. The hearing continues with advocates for golf council and employers in attendance.
Fragmentary OCR text mentions Stan Waal and Peedi with unclear roles while referencing a local event or ceremony. The passage is garbled with many nonsensical words and missing context, preventing a clear reconstruction of people, places, or outcomes.
The readable text shows garbled lines about events and people across multiple topics, including names like Rohan and Susie, a Nixon reference, and scattered phrases on ceremonies and matches. Key details are missing, making it difficult to extract a coherent single-item news item.
Amateur golfer Jim Perrier posted an eight under par score at Manly during the Ye Menty’s Summer Cun event. He matched or neared the course record with a final round showcasing three eagles and several birdies while others struggled to keep pace.
