A long chromed racing page recounts meetings, horses, and trainers with a focus on Australian events. It notes trainers, horses like Mande and Lion, and winners from Randwick and Melbourne while mentioning jockeys, Cup prospects, and impending New Zealand trips.
In the Teporsel Maiden Welter at Mulgrave the first division was disrupted by interference as Interferynce and other mounts collided near the five furlongs. A Montgomery rider on Crash Sis blamed fear and the course, while Toobey confirmed the altercation as outside horses surged in. Stewards judged the fall caused by outside horses entering too quickly, with confusion over the outcome and rider safety.
The report covers extensive track activity with names like Furlones Norih and Mage. Horses such as Bard Avon and Golten Santé set times across the Tan Track while jockeys including Armstrong and Whitten feature in notable performances.
