May Day in Sydney 1922 crowds rally for Red Flag Labor
May Day in Sydney on 1922 featured about 1200 unionists marching from Eddy Avenue to the domain with the Red Flag. The crowd, estimated near 10 000 at the domain, welcomed communist presence, songs, and calls for release of LW.W. men Reeve and King as Labour Council leaders urged international worker solidarity.
