Labor Council ties with unions for staged action in Australia
A Melbourne meeting of the Council of Action outlined plans to unite with Labor Councils in Pach State to push a uniform policy focusing on Building Trades Transport and Metal Trades. It urged threepence per member for propaganda and called an all unions congress in Methowrne on June 19 1924 to align policy with the Russian famine fund and broader working class aims.
