John N. Duncan 22, of Brunswick, died at Deer Park when his five ton grader for the Country Roads Board was struck at the Station Road crossing by the 8.15 am up train from Horsham to Melbourne. Duncan was en route to Braybrook Shire Hall to collect wages. He was the sole son. his mother is a widow.
