A Sunshine Harvest Works delivery bus swerved to avoid a horse and rolled into a pot hole on Ballarat road near Hampshire road. Eighteen passengers were thrown about, with George Pitt and N J Curwood among the injured. The driver E Garrett escaped with a torn coat. sixteen McKay’s Sunshine workers aboard were later sent home or to work. Dr Tonkin attended the scene.
