Sunshine Baseball Club Plans 1958 Junior Competition Start
The Sunshine Baseball Club announces a junior competition starting November 7 1958 open to lads under 17 to train for senior teams. Last year four teams competed with St Johns defeating Tigers for the premiership as club notes praise growing participation and a new ladies welfare committee forms to boost social events.

The Sunsane Anglers Club announces a Sunday 20th trip near Malmabury with a 6 am bus from the Post Office. A Sunshine team will compete for the Clive Staples Shield against other clubs and a Presentation Night Dance is set for Saturday 26th September. Trophy displays will be at 239 Hampshire Road, Sunshine next week thanks to Mr W J Burden.
