John Basendene Richarde died suddenly at his residence in Morris on Supt ard Thiele. He was born in Ballaval and had recently retired. Survived by a widow and three children, two sons preceded him. Funeral held at Nelson Bros Chapel with interment in Foulseray Cemetery. Richarde was a prominent Freemason holding Grand Lodge rank in craft and mark degrees. affiliated with Sunshine and Albion Lodges and related Masonic bodies. Rev R W Stephens conducted the service at the chapel and graveside. Rev KR Adams led the lodge procession.
