Photographs Spark a London Romance Across Two Boroughs
James Newell, an Australian visitor, becomes drawn to a photo in a studio window and tracks down Doreen Sayers, a shy singer living in West Kensington. After a tense clash with her financier, Ward, they fall in love, face money fears, and plan a future together, aided by a bank draft and mistaken identity.
