Council Approves Amended By Law at Special Meeting
At a special council session on Monday Dr H Skewan chaired as the by law was formally approved after debate. Cr Pennell Tilbur Robinson Areen ham Dempster Barclay Lowe Drayton James Hall attended along with inspectors and clerks. Discussions covered deposits for road openings and uniform fees to avoid damage costs. The committee recommended adopting Footscray scale fees while noting potential industrial impact. The by law, once confirmed, will apply to dwellings and factories with a phased operative timeline.
