The Sunshine Scottish Society held its first town hall concert last Friday with Gwen Harvey directing a pre party and C. G. Manzoni leading the orchestra. Two accordionists from Aberdeen wowed the crowd and were noted for reaching Lover's Amateur Hour semi finals in Sydney. A bouquet with Scottish heather was presented, and visitors from Yarraville Scottish Society joined in traditional costumes as announcements for Highland Dancing and a social event on 22 October were made.
