Sunshine Progress Association Seeks Road Taking by Council
A ratepayers meeting of the Sunshine Progress Association discussed taking over the road between Stanford Street and Derby Road for municipal control. They argued the road is unsatisfactory and pedestrian traffic warrants council management, proposing the 65 foot wide original road be taken over.
