Sunshine branch bids farewell to Oscar McKay with gold watch
At the Memorial Shire Hall Sunshine mourned the departure of Oscar McKay, longtime president and organizer of the Playground Committee. A gold Omega watch, inscribed and mounted, was presented as thanks for his service to the Diggers and the Soldiers and Citizens League. McKay will move to Western Australia to manage a family pastoral property, and colleagues paid tribute to his transport, billiards support, and steady leadership.
