Presbyterian Choir Visits Salvation Army
Last Monday evening the Sun shine Presbyterian Church choir visited the Salvation Army at the barracks and gave a musical entertainment of a high order under conductress Mrs C Eliason. Mrs Lyle sang a solo and promising Miss Vena Thompson contributed a noble song. A delightful quartette by Messrs C A Hiscock H P Warnock Miss M Oakes and Mrs H Schmidt was also performed. Major Gardiner welcomed the singers and was acknowledged by Rev W Evans.
