Miss Kirbys Display Shines At Sunshine Town Hall
Miss Kirby presented an all local talent show at Sunshine Town Hall last night. The program showcased Sun shine’s top performers and received loud applause for high standards and lively staging. June Fiori aided as fund assistant and Ern Roberts stood out as an accomplished accompanist. The evening ended with dancing amid broad enthusiasm.

Trading After Hours at Braybrook Hotel
Mrs Gunn of Braybrook Hotel Ballarat Road faced Sunshine court for keeping a bar unlocked during prohibited hours and admitting patrons on October 28. Police testified seeing four men in a bar area with three drinking. Gunn admitted two prior convictions and was fined £5. Other defendants including Russell Quinlan Skinner Elmer and Upton faced similar charges. Upton was cleared, others fined sixpence.

About 250 ladies attended an afternoon reception at the Sunshine Town Hall hosted by Mrs A Lowe wife of the shire president. The venue featured garden style decor by Mr Barker full fern and eucalyptus displays and pink gladioli on tea tables. Mrs Lowe and Dr Lowe greeted guests with their son Kenneth assisting. Edward Radford sues Mrs Sarah Greenham for damages after a June 4 crash on Durham Road Sunshine. Judiciary heard both sides admit fault with negligence on both sides as Greenham drove on the wrong side and Radford swerved. Both parties to pay their own costs.
