A man from Kenington admitted taking a saw during a floor repair and faced Police Magistrate Mohr. The court adjourned the case for three months citing prior good conduct, with potential punishment if offenses recur.
John Roy Campbell Albert E Lupton and James Reidell were fined £3 each for overloading and speeding on Ballarat Road. James E ward Peacock was fined £1 for cycling on a footpath. Vie Hutton of Deer Park Hotel paid £2 1s 6d for possessing a bottle of port wine wrongly labelled. The prosecutor noted the hotel owner’s previous practice and urged a light penalty.
