Mariburnong Progress Association Meeting Notes on Draining Maidstone
The November meeting led by Mr E Barlow discussed council drainage plans for Maidstone including Braybrook and Footscray involvement. Crs Dempster and Ravenhall pushed for a small drain to relieve nine to ten acres of residential land. several issues were raised about road water pipes and quarry traffic damaging mains, with calls for timely road repairs and cooperation from nearby councils.
