Grave Doubts Raised Over Driving Charge at Sun Court

Maxwell Dent of Kensington faced a charge of driving on the wrong side after a collision with a motorcycle driven by Domenico Sepunito of Deer Park on September 2 in San Crescent. An interpreter testified Sepunito rode on his correct side. Dent claimed the motorcycle was on the wrong side and he swung wide to avoid it. Police observed marks indicating the car crossed the centre line. The court heard Dent’s defence that there was no case to answer for being on the wrong side without justifiable cause.
