Sunshine Scouts Parade Brightens Wet Sunday
Despite heavy rain on Sunday, 200 Sunshine and Footscray scouts, guides, cubs and brownies led a parade from the scout hall at Martin Street. The ceremony featured the flag breaking, a district commissioner's address, and a renewal of the promise with notable speeches by Dr. W J Pridham and Rev. Mr Townsend. Community thanks went to Braybrook Shire Council and Dr Glendenning for Toolern Vale camping ground donations, with calls for more volunteer leaders.
