On Thursday May 30 at 3 p m shire president Dr W J Pridham will open the Centenary Fair in the Ma sonic Hall to raise funds for the Methodist Church Kindergarten Building. Admission is free with stalls for work, crockery, flor and plant, baked goods and nuts, and an afternoon tea and supper refreshment stall. Prizes include best pair of boys knickers, nine prizes at the cake stall, plus activities for ladies and men and a fish pond for children. Secretaries are Mossta RV Seymour and F Ellingsen.
