Death of John Lee Anderson Remains Mark Ballarat Ties
Old Ballarat resident John Lee Anderson died Saturday at Sunnyside avenue Camberwell. Born at Littha Hiver seven years ago he began as a printer with James Curtis and worked for Dimbeola Banner and the Wimmera Star. He founded Berry Anderson & Co and later J. L. Anderson & Sons Prop. Ltd in Melbourne. Retired two years ago to focus on bowling, he once won the Australian championship and was runner up several times. He leaves a widow two sons and three daughters, with brother Mr. J. Anderson of Devonshire road and sister Mrs. B Tyrrell of Gertrude street Sunshine.
