Progress Association Thanks Shire Council
The Sunshine Progress Association at its monthly meeting approved a letter of thanks to the council for installing a light at Melon Street and South Road and for numbering houses and shops. Attendees supported efforts to improve local infrastructure, and plans were made to nominate delegates to the Central Council while raising issues about a Sunday presence at Tottenham Station and postal deliveries on Adelaide Street.
