Footscray Councillor Fights Maladministration Claim
A public inquiry at Footscray Town Hall heard Dr Jacka accuse City Engineer A H Munro of maladministration over council material, with a motion urging three months’ notice to terminate Munro. The committee found some material went to the pig market, not Geelong Road, and expressed confidence in Munro, while Dr Hester pressed for accountability.
