Polluted Kororoit Creek Swimming Pool Reported At Council
Dr John Adamson reported alleged pollution from sulphate of soda in the Kororoit Creek pool water near Sunshine and Deer Park. Tests showed pool water contained sulphate of soda while creek water did not. Salt cake dumping from Nobel's factory was cited as a possible source, with drainage from Sunshine entering below the pool. Further analysis results were awaited.
