Weak Excuse At Sunshine Court Driving Case

Sam Greenham of Durham Road faced a fine of 20 shillings for driving on the wrong side of the road and admitting a weak excuse. Kingsley Kirby of 124 Derby Road was fined for a similar offence after claiming limited room and a shortcut. The bench found no serious convictions and noted puzzling varying remarks by constable Bourke. Greenham had only a few months of driving experience, which was not deemed a reason for discrimination.
