Sydenham Fire Brigade Ball Honors Dr. Davis Birthday
A Friday interlude in Sydenham included a presentation to Dr. A J Davis Shire President and Mrs Davis by the Rural Fire Brigade. The Mechanics Mall hosted 260 guests for the ball on June 10 with music by Tom Smiths Musical Knights and a four relay buffet. Funds are projected to reach about 40 pounds to fund a brigade building, with council permission earlier granted for a site and temporary shelter before the next fire season.
