Deep regret is recorded as Mrs Lily Hope Bickley, wife of Mr Malcolm Bickley of 104 Morrie Street, Sunshine, dies after long illness compounded by the shock of her daughter Doria Higgins’s death in an accident two years ago. Born in Battersea, England, she came to Australia as a war bride in 1910 and lived in Sunshine since. She was active with the Loyal Orange Lodge and her funeral was conducted by Rev Mr Wizard of St. Mark’s Church. She leaves husband, daughter Mrs R Kirby, son John, and three sisters in Australia, with many floral tributes.
