Sunshine Defeats Kew at Selwyn Park in Tight Game
Sunshine secured a 4-12 to 2-4 victory over Kew at Selwyn Park amid gusty wind as Chapple and Wright led the Sunshine forwards scoring seven goals between them. Kimpton and Steadman anchored the back and midfield, while Day and Herring strengthened the wing defense. Kew fought hard but could not overtake the home side in the final stretch. The club announced a Town Hall dance next Tuesday with Markin’s orchestra providing music.
