Death of John William Robinson Aged 60 Truganina Farmer
John William Jack Robinson died Friday January 1 in Truganina where he farmed at "Robinson" for decades. He was the eldest son of the late James and Mrs Robinson and a third generation settler. Funeral to Oll family cemetery at Truganina with about 150 mourners. Rev W S Laity conducted the service. He leaves a wife daughters Jean and Allison son Alf and five farming brothers Jim Cyril Henry Stanley and Douglas in the district.

The death of Charles Alexander Emslie, age 70, of 121 Anderson Rd Sunshine, occurred January 12. He leaves his wife and son John. A foundation member of the Sunshine L O R and a lodge trustee, he lay in state at Fawkner Crematorium with funeral services held Thursday the 13th.

Braybrook Shire Council Wins Prosecution Over By Law Breach

More False Alarms Than Fires In December

Sun Shine police arrested Leo Criffiths at Hampshire Rd gardens on January 20 for drunk and disorderly behavior. He spent eleven hours in custody and was fined 10 in Sunshine Court before Mr J P Gloster. Walter Thomas Chuck was fined 4 for carrying unlicensed goods on his vehicle. Train Service Improves With New Timetable Addition
