Mrs Henrietta Richards a well known Deer Park public spirited resident died at 45 Station Road. She leaves a husband four daughters and a son killed by a tram three years ago. Once twice president of the Deer Park Mothers Club the late Mrs Richards had lived in Deer Park ten years coming from Manchester. Funeral at Fawkner Crematorium attended by many wreaths from local groups. Services led by Rev J B Longthorn.
Melbourne's Archbishop Howth will preach at St Albans Church of England on Sunday at 11 oclock. It marks his first visit to the parish as archbishop with invitations sent to Shire Councillors and St Albans Presbyterian Church members to attend.
