Albion and North Sunshine clash in Grand Final A grade
North Sunshine won the preliminary final securing the men's doubles and ousting Albion. The Our Lady's team fought hard in the ladies doubles, but could not overturn earlier deficits. Key performances came from Margaret Howard and Laurie Martin with fresh showings by Joy Cribbes and Davis-Smythe. The blood match saw Harvesters defeat North Sunshine and the B grade final will be played at North Sunshine courts in Garnet Street.
