Close contest leaves junior club near final tour place
The club came close in a hard fought match and could have qualified for the final tour. Financial strain limited funds though many expenses are rare for a junior club of their standing. Coach L Reardon impressed with systematic play while F Hayden’s hard work was valued. Appreciation also goes to supporters and those who aided the club in various ways. The reunion fundraiser at Warranayte drew modest support but was described as very enjoyable.
