Sunshine Harvester Picnic Draws 1500 to Frankston Bay
The Sunshine Harvester Works Picnic of 1949 drew about 1500 attendees to Rankston Park Frankston with half traveling by special Sunshine line. Organiser J Reg Barclay led sports and entertainment while Eric Wilcox dominated sprint events and Miss Sunshine 1949 crowned Joan Evans. Trophy prizes were presented by Managing Director C N McKay as Don McKay led secretarial efforts.

Record-Breaker in Court at Sunshine Station Crime Trial
