Council Reverts to Committee System
The council voted to restore a committee system, with four membered committees and open sessions for most business. Drs Robinson Drayton and President Skewes led the change, arguing smaller panels handle work more efficiently, while critics warned of less transparency. The finance committee will include all councillors, with sectional panels to handle each branch, and appointments set for twelve months.
