Community pool safety relies on volunteers and donations
Residents are urged to contribute cash or labor to complete safety work at the swimming pool for non swimmers. About 30 have earned certificates after swimming 25 yards, with ongoing material costs and a call for more volunteers. The Sunshine Nigger Minstrels perform February 4 in Shire Hall to aid pool funds, with Roy Reed on the program and further material pledges from Mr. W Roberts.
