Braybrook Council discussed converting a Maidstone house into an infant welfare centre. The two front rooms will serve the centre while a municipal sub depot might be added, a proposal opposed for proximity to the health centre. Council agreed to offer accommodation to an infant welfare sister.
The State Electricity Commission plans a storage depot at the corner of Geelong and Microdonalds Roads in Brooklyn. About fifty acres of land would be involved in the project.

After prolonged talks the Lands Department reserves 32 acres at Deer Park for recreation. The Brygcreek Council will form a committee of management for the reserve.
