Sunshine swimming club carnival highlights and local progress
The Sunshine Swimming Club opened with a carnival featuring novelty events and a late arrival from the Y.A.S.A. diving troupe. Mr. Nicholson received a life membership for eight years service as president, and club officials praised his work while the team prepared for the season in a newly affiliated VASA structure. The broader Sunshine district shows growth with new houses, shops, and a major school built at a cost over £12,000, while unemployment remains high.
