St Albans Keilor water scheme gets council committee probe
Braybrook Shire Council referred the St Albans Keilor water supply plan to a cross riding committee to gather information. The scheme, backed by engineers, envisions an 18 inch main from Morang reservoir to Essendon, then a 12 inch line to Keilor and St Albans at an estimated cost of £27,900 with an Urban Water Trust to manage distribution. The plan hopes to accelerate development while limiting council liability, and a six member committee was appointed to study and report back ahead of potential conference with Keilor Shire Council.
