At a council meeting Cr Pennell opposed using the near empty old school for a kindergarten citing traffic danger and risk to children. Dr Barrett noted the traffic concerns and suggested obtaining permission to use the building and possibly moving it to another site.
Keilor councillors criticised the delay by outside valuer Mr Lambell nine weeks overrun the work. Dr Jolly moved a fine of 10 shillings a day from end of September. The council budgeted £450 for the job and reported rateable property value at £85,700 versus £75,125 last year.
