The Rev. A B Winter officiated at St Mark's Church in England for the marriage of Miss Lilian Lawnen and Mr Edward Chapman on Saturday last witnessed by many guests. The bride wore a pale satin gown with orange blossom coronet and carried water lilies and lily of the valley. bridesmaid Miss Rita Carson wore blue satin and carried blue delphiniums, while flower girl Joyce Ellingsen wore blue and carried delphiniums. Best man William Chapman fulfilled his duties. Reception for about 70 guests featured blue and white decor, dancing, and a parting gift. the couple left for their honeymoon in a grey costume with navy accessories and a short fur coat.
